Lisa M. Rosen

Principal

Lisa Rosen is a mission-driven executive and strategic advisor for global companies and non-profits. She excels in designing organization strategies and partnerships for climate mitigation, corporate social responsibility, governance, and international development. She was formerly Chief Operating Officer for SustainCERT, a Luxembourg-based subsidiary of The Gold Standard Foundation, where she oversees finance, legal and compliance, human resources, assurance, and technology. Lisa also currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Massachusetts chapter of The Nature Conservancy.

Lisa previously served as Interim CEO of SustainCERT and Chief Operating Officer for The Gold Standard Foundation, one of the world's leading carbon offset certification standards, where she oversaw legal and compliance, operations, human resources, and IT. As Director of US Markets for The Gold Standard Foundation, Lisa represented The Gold Standard in climate policy discussions with the UN, EPA, RGGI, and other government entities and programs. Lisa has been a speaker at UN climate conferences, high level industry, government, and investor conferences, and in academic settings. She has authored several thought leadership pieces on the carbon markets and other environmental issues.

Prior to joining The Gold Standard Foundation, Lisa was an environmental attorney focused on litigation and regulatory compliance.
